I'm a new to the knot. I got engaged during Labor Day Weekend in Vegas. We Have set a date for May 21, 2011. I hope thats realistic. I have heard from some of my friends that The Knot & my local knotties will be an awesome support system & addiction during my rollercoaster ride to becoming a Mrs. I can't wait to get to know all of you & get ideas & recommendations for my special day.

    Congrats & welcome Jaez! All the girls on this board are amazing and so helpful. I love your date -it's my birthday lol :) ... but I definitely think it's doable as long as you focus and stay on top of getting stuff done. I'd suggest searching for a venue first and foremost but also start looking into dresses because most places will tell you it takes 4-6 months to come in plus estimate a month to get alterations completed.

    Congratulations and welcome!!! =) we will be your biggest cheerleaders!!! Anything you need ask away, seriously no question is dumb cuz chances are other girls had the same issue. No one will you understand you better than people who are going through pr have gone through what you will be going through. The girls are AMAZING and definitely no haters, all but love and in some cases puppies and rainbows!!! Wish you the best of luck in all your planning.
