One more AW post =)

So our venue has a big fire pit outside that I'm hoping to use (weather permitting *fingers crossed*) and I've been on the hunt for a table to put out there that we can paint and distress to set up a smores area.

We went to the thrift store yesterday and found this:

The shoes are there for scale and minus the cat. lol! She thinks it's a new cat plaything.

We're going to paint it a muted teal-ish color and distress it and put a cupcake tower on there with milk and dark chocolate and graham craker pieces. Then we're going to have two glass jars with lids and stuff marshmallows in them. Like this:

We'll do a smilar banner with "Smore Love'. SO excited!!!

Now I just need to find a table for the escort card set up. =P

ETA: We didn't go yesterday, we went today. =P Silly me.

I love that idea! It's so fun.

I was actually considering doing something similar. The hotel that I've blocked some rooms for the "party people" aka people who will drink a lot, has a fire pit so I thought of having a "smores afterparty" there if the weather permits. Smores are the one thing that will make me endure the bugs around a campfire in the summertime.
