I refuse to play in the student/faculty basketball game we have at school every year because I am such an embarrassment to the name of sports. I did dance from abut age 3 until halfway through high school, though, so I am not totally hopeless in terms of hand-eye coordination.

Gymnastics until I was like 13 or 14 (if you're not Olympic bound with that you tend to give up hahaha) Played field hockey in jr. high......Soccer from age 6-18 and in HS.....in college I did cross country

I was a dancer, but I mentioned that in the arts poll below.

I played lax in middle school but ended up giving it up in high school
   My mom died my freshman year in the spring so I was unable to be at practices and games because I was spending so much time at the hospital etc.
    And then in the spring of my sophmore year I went back out and ended up having some other problems dealing with losing my mom, and ended up not being able to play.
    By junior year it was too late... I miss it a lot.... I know I would have played in college if I played through highschool

Edit: I played soccer and softball when I was young but never for school

Edit take 2: I was a summer swimmer and a diver for lots of years...stopped diving when I got too scared, and stopped swimming when I got sick of the coaches petty bs

I am counting dancing. I danced from 3 until freshman year of high school. It was a graded class in high school and I hated being graded on something I did for fun, so I stopped. And that was the biggest mistake of my high school career!

I was on the basketball team in 8th grade. I played bench warmer I only made the team because they wont cut 8th graders.

Played softball up to half way through freshman year of college... did the travel team thing and all that. I picked up club level field hockey in college once I quit softball.

I was on the Volleyball and Swim team for 2 seconds in high school. Coach and I didn't see eye to eye - aka she was a raging b!tch and so I didn't do volleyball...turned and went for swim in the winter - low and behold it's the same friggin coach. I was drastically upset. So I just kept dancing and went further down the theatre geek trail.

Dancer when I was 4 until my heart surgery 2 years ago.

Softball when I was maybe 5? until I was 15.

Swimmer from 6 until 15ish.

Cheerleader from 4 to 17.

I did cheerleading 10-12th (went to catholic school 9th grade and hated it so I did nothing), and I did wrestling 9th and 10th grade.

I also danced from 3-18, but not with my HS, with a private dance company. Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, pointe, etc.

I played softball every summer until college, and then also played on a team during my last few years of college. I tried out for the high school team my freshman year, but I enjoyed theatre more so I did theatre during the year instead. Plus my softball team mates during the summer we much more fun than the girls on the high school team - they were waay too serious for me, heh.

On that note, my softbal team has our first and only practice tonight! Season starts next week, whoohooo!

Nope. I dated a lacrosse & soccer player though, so I went to every game.... And I was track manager for indoor and outdoor for 2 years. (It got me out of class early most days to leave for meets.

)

I did play field hockey in 7th grade, and I loved it. I also ran track in middle school... I was killer at the hurdles and relay races, however when I finished one of the races with my shoelace wrapped around the last hurdle, and cinders all in my knees, hands, chin, neck, stomach and elbows... I quickly quit.

I did gymnastics when i was younger and cheerleading starting from 5th grade for about 7 years for all-stars (competitive). Captain for my middle-school and didnt cheer for my HS. Also, was in the Ski club in HS.
