Before DD's tumbling class last night, the two instructors were flipping around having some fun. One of them did a hand stand against the wall. I was all "Psh, I can do that." I was in tumbling (several years and pounds ago), so I could totally do that.
So when we got home I was showing DH how strong I was. I flipped myself up on the wall and didn't have my balance, so I fell onto my head and left shoulder, bending my left thumb all the way back toward my wrist.
Owie.
My thumb immediately got hot and hurt to bend. It still really hurts this morning and I can't grip anything. Couldn't hook my bra this morning. It's a little swollen and maybe a little bruised. I don't think it's broken, just strained.
What hurts most is realizing I'm not as strong/nimble/agile as I used to be.
