Summer Wedding Color Ideas

I am getting married next June and will be getting married in a church with red/burgandy carpet. What summer color options would look good? I am afraid of the colors not meshing well together. (the carpet + dress colors) What would everyone suggest?

The carpet at our chapel is the same color.

The only thing I was concerned was about - one of my colors is wine, and I didn't want the carpet to blend into the dresses. So the bridesmaids dresses are pewter.

I think you could do any colors you want.

I honestly don't think people will notice the color of the carpet that much. But of course it will probably bug you if it clashes too much. I think you would be safe with gray, cream, pinks, purples, and lighter blues. Personally, I would stay away from greens because I would feel like it would look like Christmas, and I would probably stay away from Darker blues and yellows because I would be reminding of a kids playpen with all the primary colors. But that's just me.

You are overthinking this. The color of the church carpet doesn't matter. Same thing for the reception. Go with whatever colors you want. We had a June wedding and our colors were purple, teal/aqua and silver. You can see pics in my married bio.
