things to do in Westford (for wedding website)

Hi all...we'll have a lot of out of state guests staying at the Westford Regency. Any suggestions on things to do in the area? Just things to keep people busy while they wait for everything to start. Appreciate any suggestions.

<div>If your getting married in the Summer, according to your sig? There's not a ton in Westford itself but adjoining towns. There are some farm stands along 119 (Littleton/Groton sells pies, fudge, plants, antiques too), there's Kimballs on 110 (ice cream, seafood, mini golf, bumper boats), restaurants (Chili's , Bamboo, British Beer Works, 99 in Westford etc). Paul's Diner is great for breakfast (right at 4 corners on 110 near the Regency). There's Nashoba also but it's a ski resort so not sure what they do in the Summer. Next town over in Acton, there's the Children's Discovery Museum. Also, down Rt 2 about 20 min away is Walden Pond in Concord. The other way if the get on Rt 3 you have shopping in Nashua, NH (Pheasant Lane Mall, on the line of Tyngsboro which has Max's Mini Golf, and just a ton of restaurants up there), or you could go Rt 3 South to Burlington area (mall), Chelmsford has Bertucci's, Fishbones etc and towards Lowell you have Showcase Cinemas etc...</div>

  • Kimballs!

they have mini golf, bumper boats, batting cages, driving range, pitch and putt, and delicious ICE CREAM :)
  • Nashoba Winery in Bolton is just a few exits down 495.  If guests are willing to travel a little further, there are the new outlets in Merrimack, NH.

  • If any of your guests have kids there is a Butterfly Place in Westford, it's indoors, so a good alternative on a rainy/too hot day.

  • There's also Great Brook Farms in Carlisle which isn't too far; its a great hiking area and has a working farm with animals. Just a suggestion if you know lots of outdoorsy types.
