KPS

Since there isn't much else going on today...

For the one about not having sex in weeks, create some passion. Have a nice dinner together, have him give you a massage in bed, something. If you initiate, maybe it will make him initiate more. But I think it's natural for the initial passion to fade.

For the one about life being too hard, it would only be harder on everyone you love if you ended you life. Nothing is that hard or terrible to be worth taking your own life, or wishing it be taken.

And the one about changing your name is just weird to me. Why will you only change it if he asks? You want to change it, so change it.

DNB, I agree with the name thing. If you want to change your name just do it. That just sounds like some kind of silly game or test. I bet that person her FI it's totally ok to not get her a birthday present and then gets mad when he believes her.

Yes, whoever is wishing death upon themselves, I hope they find help. Losing a friend to suicide was the hardest thing I've ever gone through. I really hope this person reads this and realizes it isn't worth ending your life no matter how hard life gets.

Who ever isn't having sex. Go to Victoria Secret and get yourself something nice. Surprise him. Get him excited for sexy time.

The life ending thing. Please stop thinking about that and get some help. There ARE people that love you and would be devastated if you ended your life or had it ended for you.

The name change one is so stupid to me. Just change it if you want to change it! You are married for pits sake. Yes Anna, it is some sort of test and they need to get over this power struggle.

I really hope the one that wants her life ended seeks some professional help.

I agree that that name changing one is stupid. She's setting herself up for a life time of disappointment if she just waits for her FI to always tell her what he wants her to do because she wants to do it but needs him to tell her to. How do mind games like that even make sense?

The thing I don't get about suicide... death will happen at one point or another. Some people find this comforting. Because it means no matter how hard life gets sometimes, it's going to end at some point. If you know that, it helps take the edge off the bad stuff. It may seem like a morbid idea, but knowing you're going to die no matter what someday really made it easier for me to say eff it to the bad stuff and start enjoying the good stuff. Does this make any sense at all?

[QUOTE]Is it horrible that the first thing I notice about the "no passion" one is the bad grammar? But I agree with you, DNB. Sometimes you have to try something new to create that passion. I kinda agree with the Sunday-weddings one. I really really don't like Sunday weddings.

manda, I can understand what you're trying to say.

I think it's really sad how many KPSs there are about depression.

Haha a little morbid, but I get what you're saying. Along the same lines as that, I have a somewhat morbid feeling for if I ever get a little scared to fly or something like that. I'm not a completely relgious person, but I beleive that it's already written how and when we will die. So when I'm scared for something, like flying, I tell myself that if I'm supposed to die that day, I'll die if I'm on that flight or if I'm sitting in my living room and a car crashes through the front. Kind of morbid, but actually very reassuring for me.

I'm a very morbid person. Yet I'm also really cheerful! So I guess that means I think about death a lot... but I'm still happy? Yeah, I don't know.

Andy - I've had the bronchitis since at least Friday myself. I didn't leave my bed until Sunday, to hit the Urgent Care clinic, then Monday night when J made me go get some real food somewhere. Plus, it triggered asthma.

It sucked. I haven't had a fever in a long time.

missy, I think the worst thing about having asthma is getting sick. No matter what I have, it seems to always end up affecting my lungs.

To the person wishing for death, please get professional help. Having someone objective to talk things over with can be very helpful, and that person can provide you some advice on how to deal with and change the issues that you're going through.

Here's a national suicide prevention website that lists resources for you: http://www.suicidepreventionlifeline.org/

Whenever someone uses "me" instead of "my," my brain automatically shifts to pirate speak and I add an "arg!" onto the beginning or end of the sentence.
