Does your FI/DH make?   We know how much us girls make now.. Just curious how balanced our husbands incomes are in comparison (and since statistically men make more, bastards)

    Nothing. He's a medical student. So, he just accrues debt.

    He makes about twice as much as I do.  And he's due for a raise soon, too.

    DH and I make almost the exact same amount.  His industry allows for sign-on bonuses though :(  No fair.

    We make about the same BASE salary yet he is in sales so he makes a lot more in commission and just got a promotion!

    We make almost exactly the same amount, even with our "extras"-- he gets a Christmas bonus and I get overtime.

    However, I am much more in debt with school bills then he is.  Ooodsie.. you saw the damage.  You know ;)

    We watched Undercover Boss last week when the executive was a woman and her H was a stay at home dad.  Lets just say H was so jealous.  If I can get my salary high enough, he would stay home with kids.  LOL

    DH don't make much more then me at his full time job, but he is a DJ so he make quite a bit more then me that way.

    FI makes a shiiiton more than me... I'm the lone 85k+. But he has it set so his takehome is around 50k. Alot of it is overtime- he gets it every week with his regular schedule. Plus, they get bonuses on a quarterly basis, and 2x a year, they shut down the plant to resterilize it & make any major repairs. Those two weeks are straight double time & a half. So are his holidays.

    FI calls me his sugar mama... I make more than double (and your chart wasn't low enough for him if you don't count his housing allowance).

    I just looked at the previous post.  It's sad that there is such a huge discrepancy.  There are only 2 girls in the 85+ range, and 5 guys in the 85+ range.

    I make about 8 grand more than my FI. But he just got laid off, so we're living off of one salary at the moment. He wasn't getting paid enough for what he did at his last job, so hopefully when he finds a new one, he'll be making a lot more than he did.

    It doesn't help that women are still making $0.80-$0.90 on the dollar to what men make.

    You go, women who make more than your husbands!!!

    I have a master's degree and make less than he does (with a bachelor's), but I also chose my second career knowing I was taking a cut in potential earnings.

    Ditto LadyJ, really - DH makes significantly more with a Bachelor's then I do with a Master's, but it has everything to do with both the field I am in and a siight diferential in our years of experience.  (Shocking for a teacher with an engineer husband to say, right? :P) Right now he makes abbout 20-25k a year more than me.
