8. What is your dream job? Teenage Pregnancy Counselor and Director of Teen Parent Resource Center and a hand and foot model lol don't judge me!

9. How did you and your fiance meet? Michael and I attended the same church for about a year together before we formally introduced ourselves to each other. We sat on opposite sides of the church but always spoke during the passing of the peace. Michael and I had both come out of relationships that were not good for us. Amazing that I could have chosen many other churches in Baton Rouge to attend but God sent me to that specific church. I am thankful to God everyday for guiding me there. He took me out of something that was not in my plan and led me to the one he kept for me....MICHAEL! Michael was really sweet and helped me move into my new apartment and set up things I had no tools to set up. We both learned that we were employed by the state of Louisiana and that's where a lot of our conversations began. We talked on the phone, yahoo messenger and emailed all day! We had our first date in June 2009, we went to eat sushi! Over the summer of 2009 we just spent time getting to know one another and allowed things to happen as they came.
10. When did you get engaged and how did he do it?? We sealed the deal with a ring on Sept 2, 2012!! Well this weekend my parents "planned" a surprise labor day get together at their house. They invited all of our close friends and family over to their house. We were sitting there talking and my dad called everyone into the living room...I thought we were about to pray. I was talking to my cousins, Bae and my Godsister when I noticed that Bae was kneeling in front of me and I saw the silver Zales box! I covered my face and everyone started screaming!! To be honest I didn't really remember all that he said but my dad CAUGHT the entire moment...I know he had to uncover my face and take my hand to put the ring on....and I said YES! My sister, mom and dad had been planning this for over a month!!! Well apparently Bae was supposed to give me this Engagement cupcake first then propose....I guess he was so nervous he forgot the cupcake....It was a wonderful moment and I was sooo happy that he surprised me with a ring in front of my family and friends!!

11. When is the Wedding Day? November 23, 2013 (last and final date lol!!)

12. Where is the ceremony and reception? Ceremony is In New Orleans at either First Grace United Methodist Church, Rayne United Methodist Church, or Franklin Ave Baptist church....we are shooting for the Methodist churches since we are Methodist! Reception is going to be at the Jefferson Orleans-South in Metairie

13. What are your wedding colors? Black and Ivory with accents of Peacock teal and Purple

14. Where are you honeymooning? I have no idea I am not in on the plans I was just told to update my passport!

15. Favorite wedding vendor so far? My Photographer! She is the bomb.com!!

16. Biggest wedding splurge? hmmm this would have to be the Brass Band and the Zulu Tramps

17. What is something you wish you could have at the wedding but don't? My Grandparents (MaDear, Pawpaw and Mommie) and Preston Bailey's TOUCH!

18. Another knottie wedding you'd like to attend? OH MY MY MY...Cha (I am going to crash it...its right down the highway from me lol), Footballwife77 (I will put my snowboots on!), MY COLOR TWIN MSBDUMAS and My child's namesake MissusD (Samiyah!),M1ssJ (I would love to see her popcorn bar) and Nursing2U...I would love to witness their love!

19. Favorite book? Coldest Winter ever, Sista Souljah, anything by E. Lynn Harris (Basil sounds dreamy but I don't do people that play on both teams if you know what I mean!) Eric Jerome Dickey and my girl ZANE....talk about I died when I got home from class one day to find my MaDear (RIP) READING the book.....

20. Favorite movie? Coming To America, The Best Man, Brown Sugar andddddddddd the TEMPTATIONS (my prophytes made us learn the dances lol)

21. Favorite tv show? Cosby Show, Different World, Amazing Race, Scandal, Grey's Anatomy and Ant Farm on Disney Channel (blame my kids!)

22. Favorite wedding dress designer? I don't have my dress yet but I am drawn to Maggie Sottero and Demetrios!

23. Any advice you can give? For all my sisters that don't have a ring....just wait patiently the best is yet to come I promise (Thanks Benita!!)! Take all comments and suggestions kindly and say ok thanks. I am currently witnessing a wedding in my family that has burned bridges....to a crisp and never to be rebuilt. People are going to have comments but unless they are putting up funds shut up....but don't tell them that until after the 90TH time! Keep God first in your engagement, wedding and marriage. Bae is my best friend and through out all of the wedding planning I plan for him to remain my best friend until forever!

24. Anything you wish you could change about your wedding? Ummmmmm nothing yet!

25. Share something about yourself! I am a fun person, love to laugh and talk! I am very serious about the bond and relationship I am builidng with the Lord and Bae. I love all things fashion and weird....I like it that Bae will see something that looks crazy to him but say "Case could pull that off" I hate scary movies,....I have a big bad mouth that came along with my small frame but mention Freddy or Jason or IT and when you pee I pee LOL...no leaving me alone after scary movies!

Because remember Casey was having a meltdown that she had to cut her hair (ruined from perms(?) ) but then the stylist told her to use some curls unleashed and chill out.

Im glad that you got your ring.. and now the time you waited probably doesnt even seem like anything.. I am glad that you are gonna be here with me next year.. All the knotties this year are gonna be resting and relaxing.. So it's good to know there will be people around that I know
