Good morning!

I am going grocery shopping today and even though things are tight, I might just pick up a copy of the new HP. I know H really wanted it anyway for our collection. We have all the others.

April 15th means...the day before my dad's birthday!

This has been such a long week. I can't wait to sleep in tomorrow. The plumbers come this afternoon to hopefully fix our pump. Damn thing has been clicking on and off for a week now and the water pressure in the shower sucks. I hate our septic system, but at least we rent and don't have to pay for repairs.

Today is my grandpas birthday! An easy date to remember.

How is everyone today? I decided as I was driving in to work that I'm only working a half day today. F it. I want to spend time with my Jocey bear.

You will actually be a few hours away. There are parts of Atlanta that are really nice, or so I have heard. We live in Augusta, which is on the border with SC.

Stacks - you should have just called in. JK. I think the weather is going to be nice if I remember correctly.

I am okay today. I have a ton to get done including working at church (yes, we need the money) this am and then doing some errands afterwards. I really want & need to wash my car, but since it is going to rain tonight, I will probably wait until Monday for that.

I think I got pretty caught up on the laundry yesterday, so I may not do any this weekend.

Stacks, you can just decide when you want to work a half day and that's that? Jealous. I think if I said that to my boss he'd tell me to take the entire day off, and all the rest after that.

Is the new HP movie coming out the first part of the last book? The one with Harry and Hermione dancing in the tent and the crazy Helena Bonham Carter character capturing Hermione (those are the only parts I rember clearly)? H loves HP, I might have to get him a copy.

I wish I would have called in. I came to work and a pile of crap was on my desk and an email that basically says I'll be spending my morning going through doctor files. ugh. Last time I had to do this pulling of CV's for this particular cooperative group I had to send it to them 6 times before they said they got it. If I have to go through that again I'm driving this sh*t to Philadelphia myself and handing it to the lady, and telling her where to shove them all at the same time!

Sesh, my job is definitely pretty lenient about time off. If you have it, you're basically free to use it when you'd like as long as there are people on your side of the office (we're broken up into 2 sides, clinical and administrative). They just hate when you use sick time. Every meeting they throw in a speech about how sick time is a benefit, not a right and you have to use it accordingly. blahblahblah. So I have the maximum amount of sick time accrued that you're allowed to have b/c I'm always afraid to use it since it will put me on the "radar".

LTB, after much encouragement from some SB girls I bought the SpotBot and it is amazing. I love that thing and that I can just set it down and walk away rather than scrubbing the damn carpet by hand. Especially now that Whisky barfs all the time.

Looking on the positive side, our tax return got deposited today.

And my weight has actually remained steady from the trip home. I guess that means I did a good job with my portion control despite not working out at home. I never do when we go to to visit anyway.

Happy Friday! Today means it's my mommy's birthday! I went to bed at 9 last night and finally slept well! I'm using some overtime from earlier in the week this afternoon and leaving at 2. I'm hoping to go see my nephew tonight! I only have plans to get my hair fixed tomorrow. I'm sure H will want to get out and do something like walk or whatever. Blerg lol

I'm actually hoping to stay a little busy today. I don't want the day to drag on by.

Aaaannndddd, I should have read the entire thread before posting. Pet peeve of mine, it's a tax refund that got deposited Missy, not a tax return. Everyone files a return, but some people get a refund, some people have to pay.

I'm the same way, that's why I waited so long. But it really is worth the money, makes it so easy to clean. One person told me to use only about half of the suggested cleaning solution and she was right, it cleans just as well and saves you money since you're not using up the solution as quickly.

We have two board meetings today and I have to take minutes for both and I have been stressing for at least a month about doing this. BUTTTT my shower is this weekend. And last night I bought over $100 worth of umbrellas to give to FI's extended family for putting together the shower. I am excited they are some cute umbrellas.

I have heard people make that distinction before and I should have done the same. As soon as H gets a job where he makes more than what he does now and I ever become certified with a teaching job, then I am sure we will have to pay, too. But for right now, I am counting my blessings.
