Amusing or no?

3 pages of responses and only one person wasn't amused. I wasn't amused, but
I couldn't help but wonder how he got through half the workday without passing by a single reflective surface. He didn't brush his teeth or wash his face? He didn't glance in the rearview mirror??

Last night, we were supposed to have a date night (chinese food and a movie) but  FI fell asleep on the couch about 10 minutes into it.  I was so bummed.  So, being somewhat of a practical joker, I decided to put a temporary tattoo on his forehead.  It was a picture of a pink kitten with cross bones under it and said "Bad Kitty".

I know these rub off easily--I even left a bottle of rubbing alcohol on the bathroom counter for him!

Well, FI came home and stormed into the office and seemed uber pissed.  Apparently, he was running late this morning and didn't look in the mirror?  Yeah, he went to work with the tattoo on his forehead.  Our friend (who he works with), said no one told him about the tattoo until after lunch...and that everyone is now calling him "bad kitty".

I know this story is funny, but I actually feel terrible.  Who would have guessed that he was gonna skip the bathroom this morning?!?!?  He says my jokes are childish and he made me throw out all my temporary tattoos.  On normal days, he says he fell in love with me because of my sense of humor--now he hates it.  Oh man, I goofed big time.  I can't wait for the day that we can laugh this one off.

He is nasty. Who doesn't at least wash his face before going to work?

I have to vote amusing.  Really, it seems weird that he didn't wash his face or at least glance in the mirror before going to work.  Not even in the car?  But then, I'm childish like that.

I would have loved to have been one of his coworkers.  Can you imagine?

He didn't wash his face or brush his teeth, because don't most people look in the mirror at some point while doing these.

He must not shave either.  Very bizarre he didn't see it.  Even if he had it would have taken time in the morning to take it off.  I wouldn't have been amused.

Now the tattoo on his leg, hand, somewhere inconspicuous would be funny.  My mom used to draw on my brother's toes when he fell asleep though.

    My H wouldn't see it.

He does brush his teeth before work (he showers at night, not in the morning, so that's all he has to do before he's out the door), but because he wouldn't expect to see a tattoo on his forehead, he just - wouldn't.

And I think this is awesome. But my H wouldn't be mad - he'd think it was funny, too.

I should clarify, the part about me being childish was in reference to thinking it was funny, not expecting him to clean himself up.  I'll bet that's why he's mad:  it's proof that he's dirty.  (And not good-dirty.)

I don't think this guy even washes his hands after going to the bathroom. I mean, there's no way you make it from waking up until after lunch without peeing, right? And bathroom sinks always have mirrors. If he stopped to wash his hands, he'd have noticed a pink tattoo on his forehead. Even the most unobservant of people would have to notice that.

I don't know how he could go that long not seeing it. I mean, even passing a mirror you'd think he'd catch a glance here and there, like in the rearview mirror, bathroom, window reflection, SOMEWHERE!

But I think it's hilarious that he didn't see it. My FI would be pissed if I did that, because his work guys would never let him forget it. But, I'd be so amused I wouldn't care. And man that would make an AWESOME story to tell to friends and family! Now I want to do it. But he'd never sleep through a temp tattoo application. Bummer.

I once dated a guy who showered, shaved and brushed his teeth all in the shower without a mirror.  Granted, he usually did his hair and checked his tie in the mirror, but if he was going anywhere but work, that wasn't part of his normal routine.  Not once did he leave the house looking nasty.

I'm stuck on "he made me throw out all my temporary tattoos". What grown adult has a stash of temporary tattoos?

I loved that part.  It was like he grounded her, only better.
