My fiance's mom offered her dress to me, I was so touched and it is a very nice dress. Similiar to the one below, except mine doesn't have lace near the neckline and the lace is in the bottom. She told me to modernize it and I think I will remove the sleeves and make it strapelss, any other thought? Anyone knows a good tailor either in Long Island or New York City? Has anyone done this kind of alteration before?
