Candy Buffet Question

So, if you had one... who set it up? My cousin and I are setting up our centerpieces because they are fairly complex, and I don't trust delegating to someone... I don't want any dead fish floating in my centerpieces. (Yes, I know that many people have issues with using fish, but I love the idea, and the fish have a home when its all over with.) Should I let the hotel set up the candy buffet, or should I do that with my cousin as well?

    Can you put the candy in the respective jars at home and set it up in your house like on the table?  Than draw out where each jar should go like on a map so your cuz can do this for  you at the wedding.  At least you set up the layout this way.

    One thing I recommend in regards to the fish is making sure there's enough oxygen for the fish while they're hanging out in the centerpieces.  This will ensure you don't have a bunch of floating fish at the end of the night.

    There's basically only two ways to make sure there's a steady supply of oxygen in the water.  Either agitating the water (water pumps, waterfalls, etc) or plant photosynthesis.  Water agitation most likely isn't an option so that leaves you with plants.  I'm not sure what your centerpiece design is, but if there is a way for you to include a small, aquatic plant in the design this should help keep your fish happy and healthy.

    I set up the buffet at home, took a picture, and then gave it to the wedding coordinator.

    I did the same thing. Set it up at home, take pictures, then give to the coordinator. Everything went fine.
