    I just LOVE Cherrylane Cakes!!  She has been absolutely wonderful to work with, as I'm a long distance bride.  All of the samples I've had have been just wonderful!  Here are her prices.

    Kristy from the Bake Shop in Fayette, OH!  Her marble cake was absolutely delicious, her cakes are BEAUTIFUL (they look like fondant, but they're buttercream!), and she is just about one of the sweetest people to talk to.

    You can see our cake in my siggy.

    Best of all, her cake was $1.10/slice, which is by far the best price I found.  She delivered my cake over an hour away from her shop, and only charged me $75 (I think?) for the delivery.  I'll stop raving now!  Her number is 419-237-2393

    Jane's Cakes and Confections is awesome.  Her flavors are unique and delicious.  She is even willing to create something new for you.  Pretty much anything you want, she'll do it.  She never says "no," but instead figures out a way to make it happen.  And her whipped frosting is PHENOMENAL!  We are having cupcakes, for which she is charging $18 per dozen.

    Ditto, ditto, ditto!!!!   I could not have been happier with Kristy - she is incredible!!
    She designed our cake to match our invitations and did such an awesome job!! 

    Here's a picture of our cake  (the circles are fondant, but the incredibly smooth frosting is actually buttercream! :) )

    Chrissy at Creative Confection in BG!!!!! She is doing my cake and it was the best I have ever tasted!!! It is a home business so she is pretty cheap. My cake is $1.60 a slice for buttercream and she charges $2.60 for fondant. She let us taste the fondant and it was awesome!! It was made with marshmallows and powdered sugar??? We talked about doing cupcakes and I think they were $1.00 each? I think her website is www.mycreativeconfections.com

    I was like... website?? She must not be looking at the right place!!  But it looks like she DOES have a website now - that's exciting!!

    Also, she doesn't do invitations as far as I know.  My wording wasn't clear, but what I was saying is that I gave her one of our invitations and asked her to design the cake based on the design of the invitation and so she did, and she rocked it! :) :)

    I'm using Cupcake Station in Ann Arbor.  The cupcakes are AMAZING.  We can do any number of cupcakes in any flavor, no minimum orders.  If you order 100 or more the price is just $2.10 each.  My brother lives in Ann Arbor, so he's picking up the cupcakes for us, so I have no idea what delivery is.  Their website is:

    MERIN...I LOVE your cake...I seen it awhile back and was thinking about having it as my wedding cake, but with hott pink flowers on the top of it.  You said it matched your invitations...Do you have pictures or where can I found them?! Thanks!

    I recommend Cherry Lane Cakes.  She is doing ours and she did my sister's cake 3 years ago.  My sister's cake was absolutely stunning and VERY yummy.  So far with us she has been great to work with.  She had samples for us when we went to book her and then she held a tasting for all of her brides that had booked and made sure the flavors we wanted were available to taste at that event.  Our cake topper is somewhat heavier and while other bakers told us it was too much she said it would be no problem.  Very nice and accomodating!

    Again on Cherry Lane: her fondant is actually edible which is always a plus.  I realize all fondant is supposed to be edible, but after tasting it I beg to differ.  You won't spit this fondant out.
