Reading

I may have asked this before, but woukld it be strange for FI's mom to do a reading at the ceremony?

    I want to do the same thing!  It's so nice to hear that someone else is considering it as well.  Even though I've never seen it done before, it's the way we want to honor our mothers.  We're actually going to have his mom do one reading and my mom do the other.
    BFP #3 July 2012 = EDD 4/1/2013
    BFP #2 May 2012 = loss at 4w3d

    I think "proper ediquette" would state that normally the parents don't do anything at the ceremony other than walk you down the asile etc. However I think its more and more common to do if thats what you want then go for it!

    Thanks girls! We don't have a lot of people left to ask to do things, and we really want this reading done.

    I'm having a groomsman's wife do a reading and the pastor doing another one.. Pretty simple!  It's your wedding and whoever you want to do a reading should do the reading. I'm sure anyone would be honored to do one!
