April Siggy?

I figured we might as well start a separate post about it...

For something WR, we could do your cake/cake inspiration.
Non-WR, we could do your favorite thing about spring, or fav. flower, like I think G mentioned.

That's all I've got for now!

    Ohh I love the cake idea!! Or we could combine them and do wedding flower inspiration or wedding flower pics!! I LOVE spring :)

    I want to do favorite thing about spring so I can put a Mets logo in my siggy...usually after April I've already given up on them :)

    I vote for favorite thing of spring or flowers, mostly because I haven't decided what kind of cake I want. Wink

    I would appreciate some more step by step directions on adding a siggy b/c the directions on the PGH site is not simple enough for technologically challenged me.  Cry Look people, I'm crying here!

    JLl - lol!!! too funny! It is a bit confusing b/c you have to go to a photosharing site such as photobucket.

    So here is a step by step:

    - Go to photobucket.com (it's free to create and account if you don't already have one)
    - Sign in and press the 'upload images & video' link
    - Once you upload a photo, copy the 'direct link' code
    - go to tinyurl.com and paste the 'direct link code' from photobucket into the box and convert the link into a tiny url
    - copy the tiny url
    - go to your bio page on theknot.com (you can do this by clicking on your name in the box that pops up in the bottom of the screen)
    - click on the 'edit my avatar and sig' link on the top left hand corner (above your name and photo)
    - enter this format: <img src="enter your tinyurl here">  -- paste your tiny url in place of the bold text
    - press save changes

    At least this is how I do it :) Let me know if you have any qu's!!

    I love the wedding cake idea!  Perfect timing, since we'll be picking ours out on Thursday.

    Hmm, I think only our Mod can edit our how-to site.  That hasn't been updated since the Knot changes last year, and some of the info there is out of date.

    The only thing for me is that I can't seem to get my info in my siggy to 'stack' my bio link WON'T go on top of my siggy pic - it goes either on the left or right but NEVER above or below - does anyone know how to fix this or the code to reformat??

    Lafemme - how do you get yours to stack so nicely??

    To get it to go below on the next line, after the code for your picture put <br /> this will make a line break.

    G, do you have the <br /> code in between your different sig items?  That should make them go on different lines.  So my sig code looks like this:

    Bio link
    <br />
    <br />
    Picture link
    <br />
    Picture description, just written in- "Pittsburgh sig pic" or whatever
    <br />
    Countdown ticker code

    If you put those in, it should fix yours- let me know if it works!

    Oops, but that slash shouldn't be in there.  So it's just the letters in the pointy things, no slash.
