in Wedding Woes

Sadly, I still have to think about work, so I must pose a question -

What are your big "no" items for community websites like the knot? (or places you cheat?)

What could they do that would make you leave (e.g., horrific search, taking away all of your blue balls, general suckage)

Obviously, this isn't the right crowd to ask, since the knot screws us left and right and we still stick around.  But try anyway. :)

    Advertising. I hate it when you're just INUNDATED with it. Especially pop-ups.

    I also hate when they're constantly changing things. Keep it the same, damnit!

    The only thing I can thing of is how much I hate Yahoo Groups. The discussion threads are organized more like an email inbox (every answer to every thread just piles on top of each other and you have to keep the discussion threads straight in your head) than a message board. It drives me crazy.

    - A video playing on the chat pages.  If I didn't have a way to get around it here, I wouldn't be here very often.  I hate noise of any kind that pops up while I am browsing and it will make me avoid coming back to that page.

    - Posts frequently showing up in the wrong place

    - Insanely long sigs

    I'm still bitter about losing my chance at blue balls, but it didn't make me leave.

    Oh yes, Duckis.  I've tried to research computer problems on boards where one thread splits into 20 pieces and it is impossible to follow.
