lakes region band for outdoor reception

I am having an outdoor reception and we wanted to have a band for a few hours to kick it off.  My reception is in the lakes region (laconia) and I have no idea where to start and if this is even a possiblity... any suggestions??

    Try searching for bands on gigmasters.com.  Also, if you check with some of the resorts, they may be able to recommend local bands that they've used in the past.  We heard a band a while back called "My Cousin Vinny", that plays at the Red Jacket Resort in N. Conway that was awesome.  I am not sure how to contact the band, but if you contact someone at the hotel, they may have information on how to contact them.

      I know Holy Cow band is local to NH, so you could check them out.   But I know most bands will travel, so I wouldn't rule out other bands.  There are a lot of geat ones out of the greater Boston area, it all depends on what type of band you want.
