I know you have to be laid back when planning a destination wedding, but I am getting really nervous. I am getting married at Playacar Palace in April 2012 and I reserved the sunset time slot on the beach.
However, I just saw a video posted of a wedding that took place there and it was by no means private. The bride walked down a set of stairs through the pool with tons of sunbathers gawking and looking on.
I realize it won't be completely private, but now I am definitely second guessing the location. I have heard from other brides that the 360 degree view wedding terrace is also an option.
Any personal experiences and input would be so appreciated. I love the idea of getting married on a beach, I'm just not in love with the idea of people in bikinis gawking at us and looking on during an intimate ceremony (there are around 25 in our group total, but there is NO way I am walking down a pool in place of an aisle, I am way too shy)...
Any and all input appreciated.
Thanks ladies!
Niki
