After having them everyday (literally) for lunch in 2^nd grade, I really don’t care for them. I’ll eat them-but I never would choose to have one.

Love it!

I like to do both. First I’d swim then I’d soak.

We’d love to have it outside, but we didn’t want to worry about weather, and finding the right place for the number of people we have + in the right budget, so we opted for indoor

No-FI’s band is Tungsten, so we can’t engrave it.

3-and we’re doing a sheet cake from Costco.

Probably my music at the ceremony. It’s very non-traditional. Other than that, I’m not sure.

So glad you posted something like this...I've gotten all my crap done at work for the day and I am leaving for the airport for a little weekend get away in an hour so I have a feeling this will help pass the time a little quicker

19. How many tiers is your cake? If you're doing cupcakes instead, are they traditional or something funky? We were going to do a 4 tiered cake but randomly decided to do cupcakes. They will be pretty traditional looking.
20. Are you doing something for your day that your guests probably won't be expecting? No, I don't think so, maybe some of them wont be "expecting" a photo booth but they are becoming very popular at weddings so they won't be too surprised by that lol

I think it's unique but have seen it done @ a friends wedding because they had the same priest that is marrying us. He requires us to memorize our vows to say to eachother. I think it's unique and fun...but also sooo nerve wrecking.

We are doing centerpiece cakes - guests will cut/serve them amongst themselves, they are only $6.99 at Cub for an 8" round, it serves 12 so people can go to other tables and have a second slice of a different kind if they want.      Oh and we don't have to buy centerpieces either - woot! This was one of my first details decided on and am really excited about it.

I'm walking the aisle to my favorite song, "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd, FI and I are dancing to a metal cover of Sade's "No Ordinary Love," all the ceremony music will be upbeat pop/jazz standards, our cake is being mosaicked instead of the standard white, and our officiant is an ordained Atheist minister. There's not a whole lot about this wedding that will be expected or traditional, but that's how I roll!

Probably not. My mom's uncle is the priest presiding. But most people already know that. Oh but our photo wall is something most guests don't know about.

I liked drawing toys. I think one was a spirograph, with little gears w/holes in them for colored pens, and you could draw squiggly circle designs. I had another one that you would rub a crayon over a plastic piece and it would essentially make a drawing of a lady that you could color in. You could give them different outfits and stuff; it was cool!

We did seven different cheesecakes. They were displayed on a big table.

I don't think there was anything nuts that people weren't expecting. I guess some people thought it was cool that we took pictures before the ceremony and were able to actually hang out and talk to people during the cocktail hour, but that's not all that crazy.
