  i dont even know how to put my vent into words.  i am having the worst day ever.
  
  in short, my boss knows i have an interview tomorrow and he resorted to name calling.  i am so upset by it, i cant do anything but laugh.

  It just took me almost 3 hours to record someone else doing 2 :60 commercials.  The scripts were SO BAD (not written by anyone I work with!) that we couldn't get through them without laughing.  However... It should never ever take me 3 hours to do 2 spots.  Ever.

  I found out this morning that had the government shutdown, my contract would have been able to continue working.  All that worrying and extra work last week for nothing.  Well, at least we know that going forward for the one looming in the next month.

  People put orders through with Purchase orders, then tell me their company is going through a rough patch, and usually the vendors they work with are "very understanding" during this time. Umm... how about don't submit a PO for a VERY expensive piece of equipment if you can't pay it in the terms worked out between you and the sales reps. Contacting collection agencies and finance charging you isn't high on my list of things to do, and it makes my job a PITA.

  I have another one.  There's a particular coworker of mine that I like to refer to as The Gnat because he won't go away.  And he just gave me copy points that said:

  Incapicated?  in my head... I imagine he means decapitated instead of incapacitated which makes me giggle.

  I waitress...the job is not difficult...but I love it.
  Anyway...
  
  I am head server aka Ast.Manager-ish
  
  So with my OCD tendencies and the fact my boss has the same ones we have labeled everything....to what work has to be done, to what goes where etc etc
  
  I come in after not being there since last Monday and it looks like a bomb went off...shits everywhere, the dining room is not at all acceptable.
  
  I was pi$$ed.
  
  Anyway I spent the whole day cleaning, and when I was eating I lurked on here but had no time to post.

  I won't get into it all, but I found it hilarious this afternoon when my boss said, "I told her (her boss, our AVP) that I'm gonna need to hire another person".  I wanted to say... you may need to hire 2 if I get my way!
