I got to the gym 2 times last week.  But I'm not finding my knee feeling any better.  It's actually worse.  I see the doctor again the 22nd.  Plan to go to the gym tonight, dancing tomorrow, Gym Thursday and see if I can do shred it with weights Friday.

Eating - I ate like CRAP this weekend.  I'm back on track this week.  I'm getting a lunch at the cafe today, but other than that, NO eating out until vday.

Ugh - why is losing so much more difficult than gaining?!

I ran 3x last week and lifted twice (not a lot of weight, just for toning). Thankfully down another lb! Not a lot, but at least it's something.

I lost 3lbs from taking 2 days off from working out.  Sad.  I hate it.  This is why I stopped lifting a few weeks before my wedding.

I ate not good foods on Sunday, but didn't binge so I don't feel too bad about it.

I've been working out consistently, but still can't get into a good cardio flow.  After a good run on Sunday, my shins were killing me again last night so I had to get off the treadmill (and wanted to punch a woman in the face, but that's a different story).  I bought new shoes at Philadelphia Runner yesterday, so hopefully that will help.  I plan on doing the elliptical tonight and giving running a try again tomorrow.

Last week I was sick so didn't go to the gym.  I did the 30 DS on Sunday and used the bike last night.  Why is the gym still crowded some days?   There will still no treadmills available when I got there.

MH- Do you use free weights or the machines?  When I lift I usually use the machines and I get so bored.

I've caught the bug - or so my FI says. It's great b/c it helps keep him motivated and working out. I did another 50 on the eliptical (watching 4 Wedding while working out was a blast). I did 4 days last week - and even did an hour and a half on Sunday. We stayed in for the Super Bowl but had some bad food for dinner. Like MH I didn't binge, so I didn't feel terrible.

Last night we planned the meals we'll have together for the week, and aside from our one bad meal on Friday, it's rather healthy - and definitely a better start for FI. Not sure if there's any weight loss, since I don't normally step on the scale, but my clothes feel loose, so I'm happy.

This was me on Sunday, too. So not too terrible. I'm on Day 5 of 30DS and I'm really liking it. I hadn't been doing much in the way of cardio or strength training, so this is making me feel much stronger and more awake/alive everyday. I'm not dieting, per say, but I am trying to be more aware of snacking and portion control.

I use free weights for most things.  The exception where I'll use the machines are lat pull downs, rows, ticep pulldowns, etc.  Stuff that the pulleys are the easiest way to go.  I'm more comfortable with free weights because I don't need to adjust anything and I can use my own range of motion instead of feeling like I'm stuck on a track.

I feel like I'm too small for half the machines there.  Like my arms aren't long enough or something.  I'm debating on switching to free weights like I do at home, but sometimes I'm too intimidated.  I feel like there are always the huge guys lifting over there.  I need to get over that.

I feel the same way at my gym. Now I just grab the weights I need an go into one of the empty rooms they use for classes. I'm a lot happier lifting if I can hide in the corner.

I was lazy and didn't go to Weight Watchers on Saturday.  I've been afraid to step on the scale.  I need to get back on track.

Did you see the wife/gf of the one muscle head guy... she's blonde, jacked and wears spandex tank tops with her big fake boobs sticking out.  I can't get over her LOL.  Most of the time when I do weights, I'll grab a set and move out of the way to behind the thing for hanging leg lifts (sorry, don't know what they're called) there's some room there and a mirror.

I ate like crap on Sunday. Saturday, I was good. Very good. Sunday? Forget it. Pizza, wings, pepperoni, a cupcake, cheese cubes, meatball sandwiches, and Jello shooters like no other.
Yesterday, I had a massive hangover, so I slipped up and had Starbucks in the morning and a few mozz. sticks for dinner... and perogies for dinner. Today, with dropping DD off, I jumped right for my 'comfort drink' at Starbucks. Grr.

I'm gonna have to start the 30D over... I was running around too much this morning and too hungover yesterday morning. Tomorrow morning, Jillian. You and me.

Plus, dancing tomorrow night with Mana, (yay!) and I brought my lunch today, so it's still good. And to add to my AW, I'm down 10 lbs. Officially. Since last monday.

I"m just coming in here to moo.I've been eating like garbage lately and I need to focus on making healthier choices.

I have a gym membership, so I should go because I"m paying for it.  But I would find it so much easier to not go or to work out at home (or buy the DVD and have it sit in the DVD player).

Does anyone have a 30DS I can borrow when they're done with it?

I just got back from the lady Dr. and gained 15 lbs in 2 months. I knew my pants were tights but to see the number on the scale I wanted to vomit.

Lets just say that put me in my place, Matt and I are joining Weight Watchers Saturday.

I'm cleared for the gym!  I have to start slow on cardio, but at least I can go back.  :-)
Good since my wedding is coming up, eek!

BTW, when I went to Philadelphia Runner yesterday, the sales woman looked at me like a freak.  I started off with explaining that I have flat feet, and bad ankles, and I get shin splints but I have trouble with regular running shoes because I need structured shoes to balance my bad ankles.  Then she watched me walk (because I'm sure a lot of people claim they have stuff when they don't) and she confirmed that not only do I have very flat feet, but I'm a little pigeon toed (which I know) and my right foot leans in (from the bad ankle).  Needless to say Miguel just laughed at me.

I am just digusted with myself for the last two weeks and will be ranting.. apologizing now!

Rant 1- "NO FOOD": The apt is in mass confusion due to the back up of settlement. We didnt go food shopping, so we didnt need to pack more stuff.. yet now we are here a week later, no house/no food! Awesome..

Rant 2- "NO TIME" :  I started my new bartending job so I have been/will be working doubles all week.. (I love my life :( )... So I wont be cooking or going to the gym... Working 9-3:30, then 6-1am... no time to cook/gym... Though it sounds like I have time... However by the time I commute home (30-40mins), take the dog out (15-20mins)... change and get to the gym (15mins)... its now 4:35 and I am just getting to the gym.. 30 mins work out... its not 5:05pm and I need to drive home, (10-15mins)... shower/get ready for work (30mins)... now it's 5:50pm... I am still home and need to be at work at 6!

Rant 3- "Extra Weight": Also I feel like I have been eating alot less.. no picking, barely any junk.. yet the weight just is not going anywhere.. GRR!!
