Hi everyone. I''m really new to all of this. My wonderful fiance just proposed to me not even a week ago. I'm not really even sure where to go from here. I'm the first generation, after my parents of course, to be getting married. My parents were married in another time and another country. I've read some of the to do's and lists but I feel that some of these don't apply to me. My family is really small and we have a small group of friends. Are things such as registries, engagement parties, and showers necessary. Any help or advice would be greatly welcomed. Congrats to everyone on here as well.
