Reception Venue without Catering

in Wedding Reception Forum

We are looking for a place to hold a wedding reception in Virginia (anywhere from Lake Gaston-Virginia beach-Hampton) for September 2012. My dad will be catering the reception. I'm thinking just a recreation center or state park hall. We are trying to have a low budget wedding.

Anyone have any ideas?

    I am doing the same thing, but having mulitple family members help. not sure of the venue yet either bc most places in central la require at caterer.. its been tough!

    Try a community center or recreation center. They usually have minimal rules and no catering restrictions.
