I posted in a thread on the Honeymoon board (link).  Sometimes my post there has some funny formatting where the word "recommend" is underlined.  If you put your cursor on the underlined word, an advertisment pops up.  I saw similar thing on The Nest a few minutes ago.

Is this a new thing?  Because it's annoying.

    Hmm... I downloaded a suspect program last night.  That could be doing it, too.  I system restored back to Saturday and now that advertising seems to be gone. 

    Oh well - just curious if others saw it or just me!

    That happened to me a few weeks ago!  I believe it was a toolbar I unknowingly downloaded with another program - super annoying though.  I went through uninstalling programs I don't use until it finally went away.  Glad your system restore took care of it
