Fort Wayne Brides - Need Venue Help

Hello All!
I am going to be relocating to Fort Wayne in June from Pennsylvania. My fiance and I are hoping to get married sometime between Oct and Dec of *this year*. We haven't set a date because we were waiting for my promotion to come through which would allow me to move out there.

So, my question is, does anyone have any favorite venues out there? We are looking for a country club type feel (this is my second wedding, I was widowed), possibly with indoor/outdoor space - not the huge ballroom type wedding. Think casual elegance.

We are going to look at the Fort Wayne Botanical Gardens next week. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

The Botanical Gardens are beautiful. I love that place. You might also look into Orchard Ridge Country Club.

If you are willing to go outside of Fort Wayne, there is Stonehenge Golf Club at Winona Lake. We had our rehearsal dinner there and it was very nice and very upscale. http://stonehengegolfclub.com/

The botanical gardens did not seem as pretty as it sounded.

I know these options are not a country club feel but some intresting places I checked out.

If you want to change your date a little bit to warmer weather the Parks in this town are amazing.

Thanks, I really appreciate it. We can't change the time frame because I am commited in Pittsburgh through June and I didn't want to try handle the double duty of my new position while working the old position and moving and a wedding all at the same time!

We actually settled on the Botanical Gardens during December. It will be decorated for Christmas at the time so I guess we'll have a seasonal theme!
