Good Morning!

I have never started a morning post but figured why not? It was so hard to get out of bed this morning. Mondays are the worst!

Did everyone have a good weekend? I tailgated for the Duke vs. Alabama game. It was crazy! I knew we were going to get creamed but that's okay. We went home and watched the Gators game and luckily they won.  Then on Sunday I got a lot of errands done and went to Raleigh to see my sister, brother in law, my niece, and nephew.  And I just have to share the best picture from this weekend. My FH with my neice. Does anyone else love seeing their FH interact with little ones?

    Good Morning!

    Great weekend here...so glad college football is on.  DH was really pulling for a Duke miracle and I believe we as Gator fans are in for a super long season at the rate we're going.  I love seeing DH with kids...he is so good it shocks me!  What a precious picture.

    Just bobbling around the house this morning trying to finish the explosion that happened just before the wedding.  We have lots of projects around the house that we desparately need to get around to doing so hopefully we will get that plugged out in the next few weeks. 

    I'm only going back to work part-time at the office...the whole element of working directly under DH and FIL in the sales department was rough.  Now I will be doing a mix of sales administration and marketing.  Pretty stoked about my new job!  I'm also thinking of becoming a Pampered Chef consultant.  I was reading a lot of reviews and many people complained about the commissions being low but I'm thinking about it because I think it would be fun and enjoyable and get some extra money on the side.  Does anyone know a consultant that they can share any knowledge about?

    Tongue out It's a Monday.

    My car, that is less than a year old, made crazy noises when I turned it on this morning.  So I drove FI's car, and I'm letting him deal with mine.  It was parked on an incline all weekend, and I think the oil might have settled over the 3 days sitting still and it needed to be redistributed through the engine.  But Yell when I was already running late. 

    We went to Charlotte this weekend to make sure one of FI's groomsmen has a suit for the wedding.  We knew when FI asked him that he probably wouldn't be able to afford a new suit or a tux rental, so we decided to let the groomsmen wear whatever dark suit they have.  Well, turns out the kid doesn't own a suit at all.  What 25 year old guy, who has been going to job interviews for the past year, doesn't own anything remotely like a suit?  Good thing Macy's was having a sale.

    Good afternoon. This weekend was great! We got a lot done around the apartment & we still had tons of time to relax. I just wish it didn't pass by so quickly!

    I'm halfway through my month of this crappy shift! Going in to work when my day should be halfway over really blows! I've been doing a lot of research this morning. I've talked myself into...then out of going to school for dental hygiene. I really want to do it but right now we're on track to being debt free by next December! Adding yet another college loan would push that back more than I want to.

    Morning! Malea and Jenni- go Gators! FI keeps saying the same thing about the long season... I agree, but poor him, he get so upset when they don't play well. And then with Chris Rainey threatening to kill his girlfriend and getting arrested for stalking, well... our house is a bit Gator-strained at the moment. BUT we did just get the beagle a Gator's jersey, so both doggies can support the gators! (Pic is below.)

    We went to the Carolina game on Saturday too... lots of football! It was super fun but I was so exhausted afterwards. Anyway, so the week begins! Hope it's going well for everyone!

    I was wiped out after the game too! It must have been a combination of the sun, beer, and getting old. It made me feel so old to come home and crash for a few hours.  My FH gets worked out about the Gator games too. We are headed to Gainsville in a few weeks to go with his familiy to the Gators. vs. LSU game. Lets hope they win! And not just for the win either but I went to Atlanta with his familiy to the SEC championship game which was awful when they lost. If they dont beat LSU they will think I'm bad luck!

    It was certainly a Monday!  I got really started on my DIY projects this weekend (my list is a mile long!) while we were dog-sitting.  We have two dogs and three dogs in an apartment is definately a bit much...  The FI even offered to help and did good work!  I'm so proud of him and was glad to have the help!

    It's bad that it's Monday and I'm already ready for the weekend.. Okay, really ready for September 30th since that's the next day I'll be off work (and I'm Raleigh-bound).

    Is it really only Monday?!?!  goodness...

    We went to the State game on Thursday - they won!  After the last several years, it is nice to see them on a little bit of a winning streak...let's see if this lasts!

    Then Friday we had to go to a rehearsal dinner for my Fi's cousin.  Then 2 weddings on Saturday - his cousins and a good friend of mine - and they were an hour and half away from each other!  After the second wedding we met some of our friends out downtown Raleigh for a friend's birthday...We made it happen but wow...I was feeling rough on Sunday!

    This week is pretty busy...my firm was asked to stage part of a house for a gala that the Autism Society is hosting this coming weekend.  So we are 'moving-in' most of this week.  Also, the remodeling world tends to really pick up in the fall (thank goodness!)...but it gets really busy, really fast! 

    Hope everyone is off to a great week!

    I know I've said this for a week and a half - but I think we have a date...JUNE 25TH!!!!  We are sending in the deposits this week!
