    A moderator will only close a discussion if it gets out of hand.  If you are referring to your discussion about being engaged without a ring, well no one has violated the rules. As long as there is no name calling, cursing, or personal attacks, then there is nothing that can be done.  These boards are not here to validate you.  Everyone is free to have their own opinion.

    - OP - Like PP's said - you can't close a discussion.

    - When you come onto a forum and ask an honest question, expect honest answers.  These girls are only trying to help you.  If you cannot accept criticism and only want to hear from people that agree with everything you say, then this might not be the place for you to ask your questions. 

    - If you post on an adult public message board and use ghetto teenager slang in leiu of proper English, you will get called out on that. Most of us are adults and it's annoying to have to read your posts and try to decipher what you mean.
