Too casual?

I was thinking I'd wear the dress below to my company holiday party this weekend.

This is the dress on Veronika (I have it in this green):
http://veronabrit.blogspot.com/2011/07/ootd-girl-in-green-dress.html

Here it is in pink:

Is it cocktail attire enough? How do I dress it up?

TIA!

I think it would be fine for a cocktail party but you would need the right accessories to spruce it up.  what do you plan to wear with it?

I think if you added some nice jewelry and/or a cute blazer it would help to make it a little more formal.

I have some black peep-toes from Nine West but they look kinda old to me. What about my grey wedges from Target: http://www.target.com/p/Women-s-Merona-Milena-Suede-Wedges-Grey/-/A-13382678

As for accessories I think I'd need to go buy some. Maybe a grey belt to match the shoes? A big necklace? Or a skinny long one? The zipper on the back is a brass color, if I remember correctly.

I'm gonna probably curl my hair and pin it half up.

Yeah, I think it's fine if you dress it up some.  I'm not sure I'm a fan of those gray shoes, though.

Yea I dunno if grey is the way to go anyway. Maybe its safer to stick with black and brass colored accents.

I'm definitely not a fan of the grey shoes.  I'd go with the black peep toes and add some big silver/gold jewelry.  Chunky necklace, bracelet, sparkly studs.

I like the dress. But I too think that black heels would look better with it than those silver ones. Cute though!!

Polyvore is awesome.  You can get a sense for how things will look without putting them on...  I've come up with so many ideas I never would have thought of before.

Here you go:  pink dress (not quite the same pink dress, but you get the idea); black blazer, boots, and tights; and gold accessories.

I actually think that adding tights, boots, a belt or a jacket will dress it down a bit. They are really cute (and what I would normally prefer), but not as dressy.

To me, cocktail style says strappy sandals, a chunky bracelet and earrings, and a pashmina or wrap of some kind.

Hmmm. I wouldn't wear a blazer. I have a large goldish bracelet...  I feel like its sorta plain without a belt though.
