Wedding Invitations & Paper

Addressing Invitations

I am addressing my invites and wew I am cutting it close! My Mom invited some people to the shower who were not on my guest list. I think it would be rude not to invite them now, but it kind of puts me in a bind as far as invitations go. I am not really sure what to do... Also I don't really want to keep adding people since I am cutting it close to capacity.

[QUOTE]Honestly, you should invite them to the wedding. They shouldn't have been invited to the shower but there isn't anything you can do about that now. Invite them and just cross your fingers you get some declines. I'm sorry.

  • Who did she invite? Family or friends?  I was invited to a shower for a couple thrown for them by a friend of theirs (who happens to be FI"s aunt). I dont think they knew who would be at the shower, FI's aunt just wanted to do that for them.  And I think mostly everyone at the shower (it was small, less than 20 people) wasn't invited to the wedding, including me. The couple didn't feel obligated to invite us.
