He should feel bad about the emotional affair, not the looking at porn. I've never caught Lucas looking at porn, but I know he does, he has a Playboy subscription. His box o'porn has moved with us for years. It's in a Natural Balance dog food box.

  • TR & Petal it cracks me up to have this dog food box in the closet but when I see the logo I know exactly what it is. :-) Makes it easy when you're moving. I don't have to label it PORN. Doing that makes movers blush. :-P

I wonder if our thieves looked at it. They helped themselves to our food and mixed some drinks while they were there. I try not too think about it too much but we did throw away our sheets (the bed had been torn apart).

  • Melissa we actually have 4 dogs. If people help us move I usually just tell them to put it in the kitchen. That way they're not giving me the o_0 when I tell them to put the dog food box in the bedroom.

<div>I think I would be living separately for sure until he'd broken all contact.  But I don't think I'm completely up on the whole story since I haven't been around as much.  So I'm just going on what I remember from before.</div>

Ditto.  Like you I'm not saying I think she should leave her husband, but me personally I don't think I could work past that emotional affair.  Especially after telling him how hurt I was by it.

  • Has anyone tried the Parrot Bay freeze and squeeze drinks?  I found them at Walmart the other day and they were super cheap.  I am drinking the Mango Daiquiri now and it's pretty damn good.  I think I'll be helping myself to another one.  Or the other 2 I have in my freezer still.

And the fact that it's still going on. I could maybe get past it if he knew it hurt me and stopped. But he's still in contact with this person. That's where the line would be drawn. Like Fish & DNB I'm not saying leave him. Just putting MO out there.

  • DNB, are those the things that have "There's liquor in it!" on the bag?
  • DNB - I haven't tried them but I've been wondering about how good they are. I might have to make a purchase.

MK - I didn't think about the movers, haha.

FI's bosses helped him move in his house a few years ago. After they were done, they made him go outside with them and gave him some porn as a housewarming gift. This was my first time meeting them.

  • I'm watching the NFL Honors show hosted by Alec Baldwin right now.  I forgot how funny he can be.
  • Wine either Fish?  In NY you could only buy wine and liquor at a specific liquor store, but in WA and now in VA too you can get wine at grocery stores and some daiquiri mixes and stuff.   I was pretty surprised these were there though.  But they were like $2 something per pouch, which only ends up being 1 glass, but it's still a decent price to save on blanding.

  • All booze will be available at stores that are larger than 10,000sqft starting in June here. Beer and wine have always been available but you had to go to a liqour store to buy the hard stuff.

ND & MD like brothers from another mother. Can't buy alcohol anywhere buy a liquor store. It sucks. Good thing we'll still be in VA. :-)

  • So, you can't buy beer at a gas station?  STRANGE

  • I would not have thought that N. Dak would be uptight on their drinking Fishy.  WI is pretty open about where you can buy liquor.  I would have thought ND would be similar.
  • Right? And you can't order booze in a restaurant until noon on a sunday, but you can buy booze on Sunday.

In moorhead? You can buy booze as early as the place is open, but you can't buy ANY booze on a sunday in a liquor store.

Thank god I'm on the border.

  • I hope you don't mind that I'm jumping in here Bay, and I honestly don't know what I would do if I were you, but my mom and dad were in a similar situation many years ago. I remember my dad not coming home one night and my mom packed all four of us kids in the car and found him at a bar with his receptionist (so cliche). It was well known they were at least having an emotional affair. My parents fought for a while, he apologized to us and it was super tense for months and months. They stayed together though and worked things out. This could easily have been for the kids but they are now the happiest married couple I know and both say how glad they are they decided to work it out.
    Just wanted to share that.
  • Oh fuuck no. Booze in gas stations is totally foreign to me. I always feel like I'm doing something wrong when I go to other states and I buy booze in the gas station.

NY used to be where you couldn't buy any alcohol before noon on Sundays, but they changed it a while ago.  I remember hearing something about people tailgating for football games wanting to buy it earlier, but I don't know if that was really the reason.

The great thing about living near a base is the Exchange stores sell liquor in them.  Usually for cheaper too, and tax free.

  • Interesting.  I need to go to different states.

We have drive through liquor stores!

  • You can't buy any liquor on Sunday in Indiana and you can't buy it in a gas station. Kentucky, it's all by county so one county might not sell liquor at all and another (mine) might sell beer in a gas station and anything after 1pm on Sunday.
