BM Dresses

So the Knot hates me... My last post went the way of the old layout.  

 I posted this last night and I apologize if you answered already, but I have all my BMs together on Sat, so we WILL find dresses.  My question???  Where did you go, and where will I get the most bang for my buck?  We've been to Alfred Angelo, and I want to take them to Terry Costa.  I want to go to at least one other store. (I bought my dress at Lulu's so I get a discount at Stardust... but hello-high end.  Not sure if it's worth the trip.)  Help, please!  TIA

Oh- and the more I'm on the board the better it gets.  I think it's just gonna take me a minute or 2.  (I heart spell check)

    You may check some department stores. I got my girls simple dresses at Nordstrom's for only $20.00 each, then we got sashes at Alfred Angelo to dress them up a bit. :)

    I will agree with Resounding Noise:  Nordstrom's has  some very nice dresses and they're not that expensive.  My MOH got hers at David's.  It came in under the time they promised and I think she paid about $130 for it.  She did not get it altered at David's though. 

    PS:  I remember answering your post two nights ago.  Makes me wonder what else was lost.

    This new layout makes me grumpy for so many reasons. the biggest one being that I can't get rid of knot TV and my browser is NOT a fan of the format of it.

    Onto your question, we did Alfred Angelo, but I agree with PP about department stores. You may be able to get a better deal. Terry Costa is supposed to be really nice as well. My bridesmaids weren't ever together before the wedding, so I chose AA for convenience.

    My girls got their dresses at David's Bridal, which seems to be a bit cheaper than Alfred Angelo.
