Oh my! please HELP! Has anyone tried this wording?

Long story short...we're back to square one w/ arguing about the reception and response card.  My mom wants "please join us immediately following the ceremony for an adult reception" because we can't write "adult reception" under the location (long story)   I personally don't like the way it sounds.

Soooooo what if we just left the reception card the way we orginally had it and add to the RESPONSE card

Has anyone done this?  Has it worked?  Any ideas, sugguestions!?!  I'm stuck and my poor girl wants to start production but this is becoming a minor glitch!

    We had a line on our response card (postcard) that said something like, "We have reserved 2 seats in your honor."  That way, no matter how we addressed the invite... they knew how many seats they could fill.  We were more worried about dates than kids, buut that seemed to work.  Only problem was we had to write the numbers in on the response cards for everyone... but I'd rather do that than call people up to tell them people can't come any day.

    We are also doing an adult reception. We are writing on the reception card, "The celebration continues with an adult reception at... (with the location, cocktail hour time and then the dinner time)."   I hope this helps!
