NWR : Good jeweler to shorten a chain?

Hi, I am looking for a jeweler in the Parsippany area.  I have an 18 inch white gold chain that awkardly hangs right below my shirt .  I'm looking to get it shortened to 16 inches.  Does anyone know a  decently priced place where I can go to get this done?  I tried Zales in Willowbrook and they wanted to charge me $30 to get it done and I thought that was over priced!

    It might be too far for you, but we like Elite Jewelers in Morristown. Jack is the owner and he is the nicest guy. H got the diamond for my ering there and I bring all of my repairs there. Call first though to see how much he would charge. GL.
