Ok so I am panicking I am looking for somewhere to book rooms for our out of town guests. We were hoping to find somewhere that we could walk to from the 16th st mall and wasn't much more than a $100 a night. We just moved to Denver in May and I haven't been downtown a lot to know which ones I should be looking at and if they are really that far away or not.

    We have a block at Hilton Garden Inn downtown for $95/night+tax. We also have a block at the Hotel Monaco for like $120. It's more of a boutique though. I think the Grand Hyatt is going to be close to $100 as well, but we're still working on our block with them.

    Thank you so much for your input. I had been looking at hotels that said they were downtown and close to my price range and then find out they were like 30 min walk to the 16th st mall.

    Have you thought about hotels not far off the light rail?  There won't be too many options at that rate downtown...there will be more options in the Tech Center.
