Affordable Alterations

Hello Ladies-

I need suggestions on a place in the Pittsburgh/Monroeville area where I can get my dressed altered for an affordable price. I would like to stay away from any bridal stores and would like to find a more affordable yet reliable options. Any ideas would be great. Thank you!

    I just went dress shopping at Harpers Bazaar in Monroeville this past weekend. The owner, Marcy, is a seamstress so it seems that the place is more of an alterations shop than a bridal shop. I don't know what kind of price range you're looking for but she charges $50 for a hem, $50 for sides taken in, etc.

    Thank you, you are actually the second person to recommend Harpers. I will call and check them out. I fear that David's will be over priced so I wanted to at least check out other options. Thank you so much!
