confession

baby mo has been in the bjorn for the past two hours.

in that time, i've rotated out my summer clothes and shoes and put in the fall/winter stuff; cleaned the bedroom and the nursery and made dividers for his clothes.

should i just go to the ap board?  please don't shun me.

rather than ap, i've been np (neglectful parenting).  i ate a sandwich over his head, and brushed the crumbs out of his hair.

My DS was in his bjorn for the first 6 weeks of his life and slept in his swing until the poor motor died. Do what you gotta do to keep him happy and keep yourself sane.

I did that with DD from time to time.  Wearing him to wear him for the sake of watching Oprah is not acceptable.

A snuggly baby attached to your chest and you have your hands free to get stuff done?  Sounds like a WIN to me.

But the biggest AP shunner on this board is TD, so jury's still out until she weighs in.  ;)

I'm pretty sure AP would shun you for using a bjorn instead of a Moby or Ergo. The widely-available babywearing devices just aren't AP enough.

Andplusalso, is the Bjorn made of organic materials?  If not, you're def not allowed to ride the AP train.

<div>Oh lord! I completely forgot about the convo I overheard at the airport on Monday. Some group was flying out to Hawaii, they mentioned that about 20 times, loudly. One of the couples had a 4-6 month old baby that she was wearing. The convo turned from Hawaii to her baby wearing habits, how she made her own sling, how she's made others for friends and family, and how she feels anyone who uses a Bjorn doesn't know what they are doing to their child.</div><div>

Ha at brushing the crumbs off.  Just be careful with hot drinks.

Do you like the bjorn?  I'm torn between that one and the Ergo.  I think I'm going to need something so I can chase big brother.

the bjorn is a loaner.  i've heard the ergo sport is better for hot weather because the ergo gets warm.

BUT YOU KNOW YOU WANT A PEEKARU.
