    When I was younger it was to be a teachers aide/daycare I ran my own daycare for 8yrs and have now moved on. It was great while my boys were younger. Now Im hoping to be able to open my own store front bakery 

    9. How did you and your fiance meet?
    We met at a Reggae bar

    10.  When did you get engaged and how did he do it??
    There really wasnt an official proposal we just started talking about it set a date and here we are today

    11. When is the Wedding Day?
    AHHHHHHH in 19 days, yes only 19 days Oct 29th 2011!!!!

    12. Where is the ceremony and reception?
    They will both be taking place at a casino about 20mins out of town

    13. What are your wedding colors?
    Yellow, Black and Ivory

    14. Where are you honeymooning?
    Vegas

    15. Favorite wedding vendor so far?
    Cake Decorator- Yes Im crazy making my own cake

    16. Biggest wedding splurge?
    Venue

    17. What is something you wish you could have at the wedding but don't?
    My brother who passed away in 96

    18. Another knottie wedding you'd like to attend? Cant just choose one so I would want to go to all of them!

    19. Favorite book? I havent had time to read in awhile, but the last book I read was The Help

    soul food, grease, sex in the city, tyler perry movies all of them lol

    all the cake & wedding shows

    dont have one

    23. Any advice you can give?
    only having 19 days left, the rsvp cards that never came back, the centerpieces, all the little details please dont stress over as long as you and your fi are there that is all that matters

    24. Anything you wish you could change about your wedding?
    Oh YES, I would have stuck to my guns and had a destination wedding like I wanted in the first place :(

    25. Share something about yourself!!      i really am a FUN loving chick, momma of 2 handsome fellas, love football & basketball, love to cook & bake. Come 19 days I will be so HAPPY that all this will be over, God help me get thru the next couple days!!

    How was The Help? i just watched the movie this past weekend and want to read it.  How is it being the mom of 2 boys? Im asking because i have 1 little one (2) and we want another one after we get married.  Chances are due to genetics, i'll be having another boy. And i REALLY want a little girl (if God is taking orders i pray he wrote this down) lol
    But if i have another boy i'll be okay.
    How stressful has it been doing your cake as well as planning?

    Jess!  OMG! Your time came so quickly and I'm so excited for you!  Woo Hoo you're getting married!  You are gonna love Vegas!  It's my favorite place in the United States, lol.  What are the specifics of your cake?  How many tiers?  What are the flavors?  Are you doing a groom's cake?

    In the bar scene it is hard to take anyone serious. How did your FI stand out from the usual suspects, and what made you want to give him a chance?

    Sorry ladies didn't get to check back till now gonna summarize in one post! Thanks for the great questions and posts too:-)

    "The Help" I loved the book, havent been able to see the movie but as in all books made into movies the books are so much better. I still want to see the movie!

    I would love to make him a RAIDER grooms cake if Im able to get around to it. Our cake is still in the process of being thought out. Flavors im leaving that up to FI. It's not stressing me out right now considering I make cakes on a regular basis, but YES this is our wedding cake. Ok you got me stressing!!

    We are having "In Memory" candles one for my brother and one for FI mother

    What made me give FI a chance after meeting him at the bar. We spoke on the phone for 2 weeks straight before going out on our first date, let me just say a true gentleman. You dont have many of those around these days. I think him being 10yrs older than I has alot to do with it too. He's not about playing games etc. The fact that he was and we are now caring for his father who has prostate cancer says alot too. He really took to my boys too, altho they were like who is this man in the beginning but they were just use to me being with their dad, what kid doesnt go thru that. He's great with them, fits in well with my gf's with my family. It was right and I felt it from the beginning. It was different a good kinda different!!

    @gift928- the boys are good, my oldest will be walking me down the aisle and he is not to happy about all eyes on him but I know once he is looking all GQ he will be good to go, my little one has been a ring bearer 2x in the last 2yrs so he's like again, they are typical boys.
