Hijacked Wedding Update!

Well I called her and texted her SEVERAL times in the last couple days and she has not responded to anything! Which leads me to believe she knows how what a B$%^& move she pulled and is avoiding me.

FI and I did talk to her mom and dad about it though, who by the way were also shocked to recieve the STD as their daughter didn't even announce the wedding date to them! FI aunt and uncle (the evil doer's mom and dad) said they are seeing her this weekend and are telling her she needs to change the date if she wants any of her family there and  because they have nothing lined up or anything (as far as we know) and we have tons of stuff done! We have an officiant flying in from AZ for goodness sake!

    That's a relief!  It's good to see that everyone is sticking up for you and your FI and trying to make her see reason from many different angles.  But seriously, her parents didn't even know until they got the STD?  WTF?

    This looks even more so like she's trying to one-up your wedding and just doing this out of spite.  Well, it looks like it bit her back!

    Wow... This girl has some serious issues! 

    Good to hear that her parent's are going to talk to her & fingers crossed she get's it through her head & does changes the date.  I still CAN NOT believe someone would do this!  It's just wrong on so many levels! 

    Also, can't believe that she told her parents about it with a STD!!!

    Good luck & keep us posted WHEN she changes her date!  Wink

    Wow, that's unbelieveable. Definitely keep us updated on this situation. Hopefully her parents knock some freaking sense into her.

    DrDifabio- I agree, ALL of this can't just be about the wedding date....it's not even like she rushed to set a date so her wedding would be before ours, its the same so I have no idea. The Psych major in me wants to disect the crap out of her messed up mind!

    Shan- LOL that is exactly what FI said last night!

    I'm happy that we have his whole family behind us though!

    That is good that the family is supporting you.  When I read this the other night, FI and I were both like WTF.  Also, not telling your parents that you've set a date, that whole process took us several weeks of emails and phone calls between both sets of parents to avoid any possible conflicts.  Maybe I should have done that, just picked a date and let everyone know by postcard :)
