Co-Workers Being Invited To The Reception

I have one co-worker that I'm really close too at work. We all know each other pretty well because I work at a small company, about 20 employees. I have worked here for 5 1/2 years. If I invite this one co-worker and her husband, would I have to invite the rest of the company??? Which would only be about 40 people including spouses.

Any suggestions would be greatly appericated! :-)

Thanks!

No, you wouldn't have to invite the rest of the company.

However, I would caution you to keep all wedding-related talk out of your workplace. Send the invitation to this 1 coworker's home, and any wedding-related conversations with that coworker should also probably happen outside of work hours and away from any other coworkers who might hear.

There's nothing wrong with only choosing this 1 person to invite, but it's very easy to cause drama at work if the others find out. The best way to keep this from happening is to avoid anything wedding related around those people.

    Good luck!
