Bustle Help!

I had a fitting on Saturday and there are still a few tweeks to be done.  She added this bustle, but I'm just not in love with it.  Do you think an over bustle would look better?  It just seems a little sloppy to me?

I wouldn't be happy with it either....I think an overbustle might look better, that's the way I would go.

Beautiful gown by the way!! Smile

Yes, I think an overbustle would be better. I just think that one looks like something is wrong.

I sent her an email after the first two replies.  She's working on an over bustle and it should be completed tomorrow or Friday.  I'll post pictures of the new bustle as soon as I see it.  She seemed concerned with an over bustle in that the buttons would be on the outside of the gown.  I'm okay with that and think it will look a lot better than it currently is.  Fingers crossed!

Another option is to have it under bustled but have the skirt come down farther.  I also had a mermaid gown and that's what I had done.  That may sound confusing, but it's really just doing the same thing as in that picture but with out the edge of the train halfway up the skirt.  It ends up looking really cute, like there was never a train to begin with.

    Here's some pics:

With the train out...                             ...and with the bustle
