We've tried the whole P&E page before, and it was really stupid.

And I didn't like having control who was there or not there, and it was just all around bad. And stupid.

Well but then who decides who gets included? There could be someone who some people feel is a reg but others think is just a lurker, someone that some people like and others don't...I feel like it just gets kind of complicated in terms of who's the gatekeeper and what the criteria is.

Haha, that's funny. I did say "judge away" in my OP, so I'm not exactly going to cry myself to sleep over someone judging me, especially if it's not even people I interact with on a regular basis. Which I'm guessing it isn't, since most of those people are in here and hopefully aren't so two-faced as to be squeeing of FB friends one second and trash talking the whole idea the next.

Yeah, it's the gatekeeper thing. Just because I KNOW who someone is, doesn't mean I wanna be Facebook friends with them or talk to them at all, really. That's what happened with the last one. Most people liked someone, I didn't, got all squicky, and left post haste.

Because coming on here as a random person (who probably spammed a bunch of boards) and expecting us to do you a favor is lame. It's one of those things that's different when it's someone you're "friends" with.
