French- Canadian songs??

My MIL to be is from Quebec and for the mother-son dance I wanted to play a song that is in French that would make her happy. My FI doesn't really know...already asked. And I don't want to ask her because I wanted to surprise her with it. I know she would really love it! Any ideas anyone?

This is such a sweet idea! One of my favorites is Pour un Instant. Also Mes Aieux is a lovely Quebecois folk group that might have some good choices. Good Luck!

Hi!! that is a sweet idea! Maybe something by Celine Dion? She has some great french albums as well as her English ones. Another great francophone artist is Carla Bruni, she has a song called "quelque'un m'a dit" which is really pretty! She is from France but well known in Quebec. ButI definitely think a french Celine Dion song would be perfect! just go on youtube and find one you like.

I don't think Mes Aieux is a good choice because is a young group for young people (a litlle rebelious)

Céline Dion maybe a better choice and she have a lot of French love song.

Maybe Jean-Pierre Ferland who is a romantic singer.
