Engagment photos when it is cold out?

Hey guys- I am getting engagement photos next weekend and I'm just nervous about the weather. Did any of you take them when it was cold out? How was your experience?

I think now is a perfect time of year. You can wear really cute sweaters and scarves to keep warm and its not TOO cold. I wanted winter wedding pictures (like January with snow in Central Park) but decided to do them last summer instead because when it's that cold out my nose turns bright red lol

We had to cancel our first attempt because of rain.  If you get rain/snow your photographer should be flexible;  although, you can get some amazing shots with umbrellas.

I bet you can get some cute, chilly weather ones- maybe sharing a scarf or fixing his hat. Perhaps chopping (or pretending) wood for the fireplace? In the pursuit of the perfect picture, the body has amazing strength:)

We took them when it was cold out and it was fine. Honestly, you'll ony be outside for an hour or so tops so it's not like you'll be suffering all day.
