Update on STRESSING...

So finally after talking it over with my Mom, I decided that it would be best if I voiced my opinion and let my MOH know exactly why I'm feeling STRESSED.  Well after going back and forth, she advised me that she doesn't do anything because I don't ever tell her what's going on OR I end up doing it myself. 

She apologized for her lack of helping out but as long as I give her a list of things to do she would try to be more helpful... Well we shall see!!

    The list is long...
    All Stationary - What exactly do you need help with? Picking it out? That's def not the MOH"s job... I hope you don't drag her to more than a couple of stores. If you're expecting her to help write things / address things with you I hope you reward her with food.

    Fabric Pomanders - I'm guessing this is your version of bouquet making... I did get help from my BMs and my MOH with this - I sent out an email saying "If anyone's free this Sunday I'm going to be doing _____ and if you come help me you will be rewarded with dinner!" A couple of my BMs came to help. Not all of them. But I would have done it alone if no one had because it's so not their job.
     
    Escort Card Poster - My MOH did help me with my escort cards, but she OFFERED to...a nd we were doing the actual cards. How are both of you going to work on the poster? It's ONE piece of paper and you're going to have to explain the whole seating chart to her... I can guarantee this one will be easier and faster on your own.

    Candles - again, what on earth do you need help with??? PIcking them out? Tying ribbon around them? If it's the latter, that's going to take 10 minutes unless you have a ridiculous amount of candles.
     
    Centerpieces - same as the pomanders, send out a general request for help and reward the generous people who come to help you. My MOH didnt help at all with my centerpieces, but it didn't make me upset with her. She was busy and had other things going on. That's life... MY wedding, MY project. Not hers.
     
    Monograms - I just have nothing to say to this... I can't even imagine how you could need help on this in any way.

    Aisle Runner - Michael's. $20. You're welcome.
     
    Unity Sand Set - Again, Michael's. They come pre-made. You find one in your colors. Done.

    If you're stressng out about these things at 7 months then I hope you have like, NO free time. I had way more to do than this at 7 months and I was done with everything 2 weeks before my wedding, and my only free time was on Sundays.
