  Have you checked the dollar store?  I've seen similar ones at Dollarama.  If you are flexible on the exact shape you should be able to find some there.
  
  Alternatively, there is a company in Niagara Falls, NY that will accept packages that you buy from US sites that won't ship to Canada.  You can then arrange your own shipping (or you can drive and pick it up) from their facility.  I forget the name right now but I'll look it up and post back in a bit.

  Check out Value Village - I went and bought small jars and short, old style drinking glasses for my centrepiece vases - 12 pieces - spent $6.99 total.

  You guys are awesome!  I went to dollarama last night and did find ones similar to what I was looking for...they're not quite as nice, but they're cheap (especially with shipping charges added on if I order online) so maybe I'll just have to get a little more creative to add a ribbon or something, jazz them up a little.  But I have hope again!
