let's keep everyone affected by these fires in our thoughts and prayers.

I have a friend from college who lives near where the fires are. Her family hasn't lost their home (have been evacuated) but they know several families who have lost their homes to the fires.

I'm from Colorado. It's heartbreaking. My family isn't near fires yet, but there's a strong chance of them popping up. There was actually one 3 miles from where we were married just a week after the wedding. There's so many!

Several of my friends have been affected by the fires. One's neighborhood was destroyed up to a specific road - her house, thankfully, was on the other side of that road, but all of her neighbors are currently homeless and their entire neighborhood is still evacuated. Another friend is a fire fighter and while he was fighting fires his family's vacation cabin was in danger of burning. Everything on the acreage around the structure burned, but somehow the structure managed to survive.

If anyone is interested, these t-shirts are for sale and 100% of the proceeds go to help the victims.
