Nevada-Las Vegas

Quick question

So I was just curious how dirty did your dress get if you took photos around the strip? Like I know it's going to get dirty becuase the strip is kind of dirty lol but how dirty? Also when you did your dress preservation were you able to get most of it out?

I don't know why I care so much considering I'm just going to be wearing it for a day but still lol!

Re: Quick question

  • If it's floor length, the bottom couple inches will get pretty filthy on a strip tour.  My wife's dress got noticeably dirty after an hour of walking around the mandalay grounds and casino area while we did our photos, and that didn't even involve public sidewalks. :-)  It's not really noticeable in room lighting though, you have to be looking for that specifically, or in bright light, so I wouldn't change your plans just on that.

<div>Oh I don't plan on changing my plans I'm mainly curious. I'm definitely planning on getting it bustled  and I'm hoping it helps keep it a little cleaner when walking around lol. This is how I"m planning to have it bustled.</div><div>

    </div><div>
</div><div>So if i do it like this I'm hoping only the layers underneath get dirty so it's easily hideable haha!</div><div>
</div><div>Oh and you just reminded me of another question actually and I don't feel the need to make a new topic, but any of you who have had an outside photographer, did you have any trouble talking photos around hotel grounds? Mainly CP since that's where our wedding will be and I'd like to have some photos around there and not get "in trouble" doing so.</div>

<div>I am curious about the photographer part as well.  My FBIL took the pictures at his uncles wedding and I'm pretty positive that he wouldn't come to Vegas without his camera. He isn't a "professional" but has a professional camera so I am wondering if they will have a problem with this. Although, I can't see how they could tell a wedding guest that they can't take pictures. </div>

  • I have not yet heard of anyone having trouble at Caesars doing photos on the grounds so I wouldn't worry about that.

<div>Thanks! Hopefully things don't change by November. I'll probably cry for a good day or so lol. xD</div><div>I really don't want to use the hotel photographer becasue their prints are expensive.</div>
