Venues with outside Catering

Okay, does anyone have any ideas for finding a venue that will let us bring in our own catering? We're just doing it from random places around town but we're having trouble finding a place that's not ghetto that will allow us to bring in food.
Any suggestions? I checked park lodges, golf clubhouses, city hall banquet rooms.... the only ones that allowed outside food were just disgusting.
I live in St. Louis but any type of suggestion as to what type of place would be helpful....

    Places like vineyards, farms, mansions, barns and other historic sites tend to allow outside caterers by me.

    Places that don't usually do weddings probably don't have a specific caterer.  The beach where we're hosting our AHR charges quite a lot extra if the caterer's staff comes in, but we can bring in and set up the food ourselves for no extra fee, no matter where it's prepared.

    Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

    Also look at art galleries, museums, botanical gardens, conservatories, vacation rentals, and private estates.  Sometimes these types of places will have a list of approved catering companies, while other times you can bring in any caterer you want.

    We had our wedding at a vacation rental on the beach and were allowed to bring in any caterer we wanted and supply the alcohol ourselves, which saved us tons of money.  We found the vacation rental on VRBO.com.
