    I said it's not very classy, but I will do it.  I'd rather look like an ass for asking then not have enough money.

    "not very Klassy" is pretty much a double negative.

    I wouldn't ask, figuring it would be priced similarly with the rest of the restaurant. if i can't afford to eat there, i probably shouldn't go.

    depending on the restaurant, they may look poorly on someone for asking.

    When something says "Market Price" I usually just assume double the amount of the most expensive item and allow myself to be pleasantly surprised when it's slightly less than that.
